What’s going on music makers!?
A few weeks ago I reviewed Loopcloud 5, which is a software application & plugin that gives you access to millions of royalty free sounds and loops that you can use in your own DAW or inside Loopcloud’s own fully-featured sample manager.
It’s an awesome music production tool that producers can use to help spark song creation ideas, inspire creativity, find and create new sounds, and improve your workflow efficiency! If you are a sample-based producer, enjoy using and modifying sample loops, curating/creating drum kit sounds, or are just looking for new/different sounds to add to your own music, I highly recommend downloading the free version of Loopcloud and giving it a test run!
You can use the updated software for free and then subscribe to one of the subscription plans later (Artist, Studio or Professional packages) if you want to unlock and utilize the full potential of Loopcloud.
What is Loopcloud?
Loopcloud is basically an application that you can download and use to find a bunch of different royalty-free sounds and loops. They have over 3.5 million sounds, spanning different genre’s, that you can download and add into your music production.
The cool thing about Loopcloud is that you can use the Loopcloud plugin to sync it with your DAW. This allows you to use the sounds and loops directly in your music production software and sync the loops to the tempo of your DAW. You can modify, the samples in Loopcloud using built in effects such as reverb, delay, filtering, timestretching, etc., and then simply drag and drop them right into your DAW.
Another cool feature is that they allow you to save all the samples you’ve downloaded to “the cloud” in order to save your precious hard drive space, or you can choose to store to your computer or external hard drive if you so choose.
